Heimethus local history museum

How does it feel to sit on a “Chunscht", how does an old weaving loom work and what is there to discover in the "Fürbühni”? Travel through time! Take a tour through this traditional Black Forest house and experience what it was like to live and work in earlier times.

The Heimethus local history museum in Todtmoos has been decorated with much love and attention to detail by the friends of the museum. Under the large, wide roof of this 250 year old Black Forest house covered with shingles 700 years of local history are presented.
The majority of the exhibited pieces are donations or on loan from the Todtmoos citizens and the catholic parish.
